Richard Taylor (b.1985, Sheffield) graduated with first class honours from the University of Leeds Contemporary Art Practice in 2007. Since graduating Taylor has exhibited widely and maintained links with artists that he met during his time in Leeds. He currently lives in Edinburgh, where he maintains a studio practice alongside other paid work.
Recent projects include ‘The Mutual Charter’, GI 2012, Glasgow; ‘Go-Go 301h’ residency, AWA Gallery, Amsterdam; ‘[STATE] of Uncertainty’, Birmingham; ‘My Fantasy Sister, My Sister’s Fantasy’, Chelva, Spain; ‘Newhaven Station’, Edinburgh and ‘Yes, we are next to Lidl’, Edinburgh. Currently Richard is co-editing the journal ‘gnommero: visibility’ with artist Sarah Tripp, which is to be published August 2013.
