Dr Alan Dunn is an artist, curator and publisher educated at Glasgow School of Art and The Art Institute of Chicago; he is also a lecturer in Fine Art and MA Art & Design at Leeds Beckett University.

He works with sound and digital billboards and has developed projects for the ICA (London), Liverpool Art Prize and BBC Radio 3. He has worked with BasementArtsProject on many occasions since his first project with us in September 2012 ‘No4 – Variations – Mutations – Adjustments – No 28’ in collaboration with Martyn Rainford. This project developed across the years into a morphing sound project that has been to exhibitions in Jamestown; USA, Liverpool Independents Biennial, Jardin de Recherches Musicales; Paris and has been remixed by artists such as Jack Wolff, Scanner, Laure Ferrari amongst others . . .
